Shortly before Christmas, the BLT Baselland Transport AG commissioned the level crossings "Drosselstrasse" and "Im Steinenmüller" in Münchenstein, Basel.

During the tight installation time, the Schweizer Electronic team installed and tested the new systems, which were thus able to take over their function on schedule. The old level crossings to be replaced were taken out of service, while at the same time train detection was provisionally maintained and rerouted so as not to affect other level crossings and to ensure safety throughout.

Both systems are designed as stand-alone systems and have an additional rail contact for switching on.
