Brief information

Using the radio hand switch Minimel Lynx-HSF-L, train movements are detected and the warning is transmitted via radio to the central unit. The trains are detected manually by the lookout operators or automatically via connected treadles. If used as a repeater, the HSF-L can double the radio range in difficult terrain.

Important features

Lookout operators count the trains manually

The announcement of trains is done manually by lookout operators on the HSF-L. An extendable antenna is integrated into the ergonomic and comfortable carrying system. Therefore, the manual announcement point is very mobile and can be moved to another location within a short period of time.

Automatic strike-in point with RSK89, RSR123, RSK-R

The HSF-L can automatically count the trains at the announcement point by means of a treadle. No lookout operator is required. The following can be used: inductive treadle RSR123, mechanical treadle RSK89 or radar- based train detector RSK-R.

Repeater to double the radio range

With a repeater, radio transmission takes place more smoothly and reliably To double the radio range in topologically difficult conditions, HSF-L can be used as a radio repeater. It is positioned between HSF-L and the central unit and transmits the radio signal in an amplified form. A gain antenna with a lightweight tripod also provides additional range.
